Arthur Zawwynn Chen

Arthur was born in Burma/Myanmar and grew up in an interfaith family. As a teenager he accepted Christ and embraced Christianity. Despite dreams of becoming an engineer, his limited access to quality education due to his family’s immigration background, led him to study theology. He further continued his studies at Boston University. To support his education, he worked nights at UPS and later joined his friend in the carpentry industry. For fifteen years he was a core member of church planting for the Burmese Community in the Boston area. Arthur has a deep passion for and finds great joy with hands-on projects, especially in construction. His life revolves around building the Kingdom of God and building physical houses as a General Contractor.

In his free time, Arthur enjoys playing soccer, tennis, singing, and playing the guitar. Gardening is another passion of his and on a sunny summer day, he can be found walking with a cup of coffee in his yard in his Grace Garden as he prays and enjoys the flowers and vegetables. Arthur resides in Melrose, MA with his loving family and relishes delicious food made by his wife May.
